Meet Linda G. Taylor

Linda is Owner and Broker-in-Charge of VIP Realty of Maggie Valley - Waynesville, NC, located in beautiful Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Her expertise and years of experience contribute to her success and enjoyment of working with visitors, residents and investors of the mountain region of Western North Carolina.    Over 15 years ago, Linda and her husband Andy relocated to this area from the Piedmont region of North Carolina. As visitors, they experienced what so many do when vacationing in the area...freedom from fast paced lives, rest, renewal and restoration of strength. It was also the place where they felt closest to God.   Linda’s career achievements illustrate how she has catapulted as a business and community leader. It began with an education in interior design that lead to her becoming owner and operator of an interior design company. The business evolved into a renovation and new construction company, where Linda was owner and general contractor for over a decade. To her credit, she was the first woman member of the Anson-Union Home Builders Association. Now, more than three decades later, the successful company is being run by her children.   It was during this time of self-employment and high interest rates that Linda first became interested in real estate. She identified real estate as a stable investment, one where she could secure a retirement, leading her to invest in several venues of the real estate market.   Upon moving to Maggie Valley, Linda brought an abundance of positive energy and experience that years of dedication built. For 8 years, she served as an Alderman of the Maggie Valley Town Board. This experience provided her considerable knowledge of Municipal laws governing zoning and building in the region.   Additionally, Linda and Andy own and operate The Valley Inn and several rental properties, specializing in accommodations for extended stays, full-time and nightly rentals. This has afforded her the opportunity to stay abreast of the current availability and market data associated with seasonal and full time rentals in the area. She has made friends with fine people from all over the world and assisted many new found friends to relocate or buy second homes in the area.   Linda’s experience, along with success in operating several businesses and real estate investments, gives her a wealth of knowledge and experience to extend to clients needs.   Professional Motto and Business Ethics of Linda G.
